Safety RulesThe following general safety rules apply in all experimental areas:
NOTE: the maximum number of visitors to the underground areas cannot exceed 7 000 people in total for all the points and all day. |
ACCESS
Please note that this special day is open only to CERN members of personnel and their families, i.e. only persons with a valid CERN card, which you will need present at the entrance to the various sites to gain access.
Each card gives access to the card holder and a maximum of 4 other persons.
If you cannot accompany your family, e.g. because you are a volunteer for one of the events, please make sure that your spouse holds a CERN family card. To obtain a family card, you should go with your spouse to the Registration and Cards Service in building 55, 1st floor.
Please note that only family members as defined in the staff regulations are entitled to a family card.
TRANSPORT:
There will be no shuttle service between the sites on 5 April.
RESERVATIONS:
No individual or group reservations are accepted. VISITORS CONFINED TO A WHEELCHAIR:
